Proactive News Reporting and Interview Skills are two common focus areas of Advanced Training courses on Radio and Print journalism. The main contents of the courses are developing original story idea, finding news sources, research for news, conducting effective interview, angling news sharply and from the reader's/listeners’ point of view.

Particularly the Print Course focuses on In-depth News Reporting and day to day investigations and research.

The Radio Course puts more weight on effective presentation skills, radio formats and professional production.

Both courses are highly practical and mix theory with discussions, exercises, feedback and real life assignments. Exchange of assignments and feedbacks are made through cyber path and during the Face to Face sessions.
