Who can apply ?

Print
You must:

  • be a working journalist,  
  • have passed +2 level of education and have completed 80 hours training in basic journalism or equivalent,
  • have two years of working experience in media and communication sector or have a bachelor's degree in any discipline with 2 years working experience
  • Knowledge on MS Word and Internet is essential and have access to internet facilities,
  • have permission from your editor to participate in the training,
  • be ready to pay tuition fee of Rs.15,000 in two installments, and
  • pass an entrance test.

Radio
You must:

  • be a working  Radio journalists, 
  • have passed +2 level of education and have completed 80 hours training in basic radio journalism or equivalent,
  • a minimum have two years of working experience,
  • Knowledge on MS Word and Internet is essential and have access to Broad-band Internet and modern radio recording facilities: having a digital tape recorder and a professional microphone,
  • have permission from your Station Manager to participate in the training,
  • Be ready to pay tuition fee of Rs.16,000 in three installment.
  • pass an entrance test.
